WWPCA Board of Directors, for the 5th time, have chosen the best coaches in the world. This year, on the Women’s side, the decision was anonymous and “easy”. Adam Krikorian was chosen for the 4th time as the best Women’s Team coach by his colleagues with winning 3 major competition in 2019 as well as being the first team (other then the host) to qualify for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020:
– FINA World Championship
– FINA World League
– Pan American Games
On the Men’s side, the choice was much tougher since 2 coaches were from runners with amazing results in 2019. After all the votes and deliberation, WWPCA BoD decided to name 2 coaches the best in 2019:
Alessandro Campagna for winning FINA World Championship with Italian Team
Zsolt Varga for winning 4 club titles in 2019. This is second time in a row for Zsolt to be chosen as the best coach in the world being a Club coach of Ferencvaros!!
The ceremony and trophy presentation will be held during the LEN European Championship 2020 in Budapest.
Congratulations to all and best wishes in 2020!!
